Gazeda is a Mozambican Government body. This body is entrusted the mission to promote and coordinate activities related to the establishment, development and management of Special Economic Zones (SEZ’s) and Industrial Free Zones (IFZ’s).
It is also the role of Gazeda:
- To coordinate and develop activities to promote national and foreign investment initiatives for the SEZ’s and IFZ’s.
- To receive, check and register investment proposals to be implemented in the SEZ’s and IFZ’s.
- Approve investment projects.
- Issue investment certificate/licenses.
